Canyons Film Festival Opportunity

Announcing the 7th Annual Canyons District Film Festival:

Canyons School District students and teachers are invited to participate in The 7th Annual Canyons District Film Festival! Create a feature film, documentary, animation, PSA, newscast, or poster! Festival entries are due by 5:00 pm on March 24, 2016Visit http://cnyns.org/csdfilmfestival for detailed information.

Canyons District Film Festival Entries to be Submitted Electronically:

This year all Festival entries will be submitted electronically! Be sure to read the information on this page to learn about this new submission process as well as other changes that have been made to festival rules and categories. Categories for the Film Festival

There are four levels of Festival competition: Elementary, Middle, High School, and Teacher. Students will only compete against other students in their grade level category.
There are six film categories and a poster contest participants may enter:
  1. Feature Film (5 minutes or less)
  2. Documentary (5 minutes or less)
  3. Animation (3 minutes or less)
  4. PSA (1 minute or less)
  5. Newscast (5 minutes or less)
  6. Teacher Film (any category)
* Note: We have decided not to have the advertisement category this year. We may choose to bring the category back in future years, but for now competition is limited to the six categories listed above.
