Did you know Red Ribbon week has been around since 1988? That’s 33 years! It is an ideal way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. Students and teachers all across America will be taking a pledge to be drug free from October 23rd until October 31st by participating in various activities.
Here at Edgemont, we will be having theme days to help our Eagles make a commitment to being drug free. Activities are listed below.
Monday: “Rally in Red” – Wear Red!
Tuesday: “Be Bright and Skate by rugs!” – Wear Neon/Bright Colors and come to FREE Classic Skate Night tonight from 5-9!
Wednesday: “Team up Against Drugs!” – Wear a Team Jersey or Shirt
Thursday: “It’s Crazy to do Drugs!” – Wear Crazy Hair or Crazy Socks
Friday: “Let’s Dress Up and Scare off Drugs!” – Wear your Halloween Costume – Say Boo to drugs!
We hope you’ll join us at home in supporting our Eagles pledge to be drug free!
